When you contact us through our website form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and message content. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
Our web server may automatically log your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This information is used for security monitoring and aggregate analytics only and is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
By opting in to messaging, you agree to receive text messages about your affiliated business’s account from Fredericksburg Technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP or email [email protected]. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with trusted service providers who assist in operating our website or servicing you, provided they agree to keep that information confidential. We may also disclose information when required by law.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our website. This data helps us understand how our site is used and improve the experience for our visitors.
We collect this information in two ways. Most of it is collected in your browser, where Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to record your visit. In addition, when you follow one of our tracked links (described below), our own server sends a record of that click directly to Google Analytics, without using your browser to do it. Where you already have a Google Analytics cookie from a previous visit to our site, that click is associated with the same anonymous visitor identifier as the rest of your activity on fxbgtech.com.
We do not provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other directly identifying information to Google Analytics, and we do not use this data to build advertising profiles or share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do, however, record which link was followed and which campaign it came from, and that information can be associated with your other activity on our site through the identifier described above.
You can stop the browser-based collection by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by adjusting your browser’s cookie settings. Please note that neither of these prevents the server-side click record described above, because it does not originate from your browser. To avoid that record entirely, do not follow our tracked links — you can reach the same destination by typing or pasting the address directly. You may also contact us at the address at the end of this policy to ask about the information we hold.
Google’s use of the data collected is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Some of the links we publish — in email signatures, newsletters, printed material, QR codes, and social media profiles — point first to an address on our own website rather than directly to their destination. Following one of these links records that the click happened and sends you straight on, so we can tell which of our materials people find useful.
For each click we record the date and time, which link was followed, the campaign or placement it appeared in, the country your request came from, the web address that referred you (where one is sent), and your browser’s user-agent string. We do not record your IP address in this log, and following a tracked link does not set any cookie of ours. A corresponding event is also sent to Google Analytics as described in the previous section.
Following a tracked link is optional. Each one has an ordinary destination you can reach directly instead.
Contact and application details are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to meet our record-keeping and legal obligations. Tracked-link click records are deleted automatically after 14 months. Event-level data held in Google Analytics is retained for 14 months, after which Google deletes it; aggregated totals in Google Analytics’ standard reports are kept for longer and are subject to Google’s own retention practices.
Our website uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect contact and application forms from spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA v3 operates in the background without requiring any user action — it analyzes browser behavior and assigns a risk score to help us distinguish humans from automated bots.
In order to function, reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and sends it to Google for analysis. This data collection is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. By using our contact forms, you acknowledge and agree to Google’s data practices as described in those policies.
Our website may contain links to third-party sites (such as our Help Desk, Remote Support portal, or social media profiles). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.
